Lasto is distributed under a plain English
license, as follows:
- License Agreement. This license gives you the right to use
Lasto on a non-commercial, non-profit, or personal website. This license
is granted for free. You may modify Lasto, including themes, to suit
your purposes.
Non-commercial or personal in this context means a website not run for
or owned by a for-profit entity. Please note that Lasto is available
under a commercial license as well as an ISP license. Please see the
Lasto website for details if you fall into either of these categories.
Non-profit in this context means a church, school, or other 501.3(c)
non-profit corporation, as defined by U.S. law.
- Exception. You may use, for a period of up to 120 days, a
copy of Lasto under this free license for commercial or for-profit
purposes to evaluate Lasto for eventual purchase. This period begins
from the day you begin to install Lasto on any computer. After
this period is up, you must either purchase a commercial Lasto license
or uninstall and delete all copies of Lasto and cease using it.
- Restrictions. You may not distribute copies of Lasto, unless
you are distributing an exact and full copy that is unmodified from the
distribution offered by RAB Tech, including all documentation, files,
and this license and the receiver agrees to be bound by this
license. Any modifications you make to Lasto may not be redistributed,
except for themes which may be freely distributed.
You may not make any claims to or attempt to hide the source of Lasto,
nor may you claim to have written it; the main index page must display a
link to the Lasto website at
www.rabtech.net/lasto/. Failure to display this link in any of
your themes automatically revokes and terminates this license and you
must cease using Lasto and destroy all copies of it. (The default
themes included with Lasto have this link already.)
- Disclaimer of Warranty. RAB Tech offers
no warranty, either expressed or implied on Lasto. You are completely on
your own.
- Liability. To the maximum extend allowed by law, RAB Tech and
its employees and partners cannot be held liable for any damages or loss
related to Lasto. Again, you are on your own and by using Lasto you
assume all risk and responsibility!
